Arriving & getting aroundPlan the whole journey.

Frankfurt Airport has separate regional and long-distance railway stations. S-Bahn and regional trains use the regional station; ICE and IC services use the long-distance station. Neither is Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof in the city. Check the terminal on your flight and the airport’s current transfer map, including Terminal 3, before arranging a tight rail-to-flight connection.

Choosing where to stayChoose for the trip you are making.

An airport hotel suits a short stopover; it may be inconvenient for repeated city meetings. A fair-focused trip needs the actual venue and entrance checked before selecting accommodation. Compare the full route rather than the straight-line distance. Ask reception about a dependable pickup location and how they handle a visitor who knows your name but has no appointment.

Meetings & transactionsDecide the boundaries before you meet.

For a bank, adviser or corporate counterparty, confirm the meeting through a contact obtained independently of the invitation. Establish the legal entity and attendees before sharing documents. Keep a first discussion in a staffed office or public venue. An impressive reception area is not proof that a proposed crypto transaction has been checked or approved.

Family & longer staysMake the arrangements work for everyone.

For onward rail travel, give companions the exact station name, train booking and fallback hotel contact. Decide who keeps each bag during a transfer instead of assuming somebody else is watching it. Keep business paperwork out of a shared family itinerary, and ensure a delayed meeting does not leave relatives without access to their room.
